First Aid:
If you believe that you are demon possessed, your first course of action is to accept the free gift of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8f & John 4:10). If you are experiencing the paranormal and you are a bonafide born-again believer, then you may be oppressed. The same Greek word (diamonizomai or demonized) is used in the Bible for both the above cases. The central issue is the sanctification (a big word for living within the boundaries God has set for His kids, through the application of His Word) of the believer. Remember, the battle is for the mind of the individual (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 & Colossians 3:2-3).

If you have not yet received the gift of God, then you are open for the legal claim of possession, or ownership. If you have received the free gift of God and are living outside the boundaries that God has set for you, then you are walking around with a big target on your back. Those darts hurt! Ask yourself who sits on the throne of your life; Christ, self or Satan? Then make a choice to live God's way, instead of your way.

God has a specific order for the family. If any family member is not participating in their proper position in the family, then the home is open for attack. The Kingdom of Light is about cooperation and submission to one another, not a military system of slavery. The head of the family is God. The husband must submit to God and be willing to defend his family to the death. The wife will desire to submit to the leadership of the husband, because by doing so she is submitting to the will of God. The children are to obey their mother and father. By doing so, they are submitting to God. Other members of the home are to submit to the family, including the children. By doing so, they are submitting to God. If you are experiencing possession of place, then apply first aid by properly ordering the family. If the paranormal continues, then seek a ministry that is property gifted to locate the legal ground of the enemy in the home. A ministry like LIGHTHOUSE.
